I'm trying to get a pair of Edlebrock heads off the engine. They've been on there a long time and I haven't been able to budge them. I've heard about the rope trick. Has anyone actually done this and are there any down sides like damage to the heads or engine. Thanks

The headlights on my bone stock (almost) 40 are putting out a dim glow. Bright enough for others to see me but they are not giving me much road information. This is still a 6 volt car. The reflectors seem shiny enough to the eye. Do I need different bulbs?

My wife grew impatient with my project 40 sedan so I bought another 40 as a driver. It's basically stock except for an electric fuel pump. The carb was rebuilt after I got it and I installed a Holley fuel regulator. Runs great! Until it gets hot. Not engine hot....just 20 minutes or so...

I'm disassembling a 40 sedan and all of the glass (windshield and side windows) are double paned. Not safety glass but two panes of glass....kind of like a storm window. Is this normal? All needs replaced but I thought it would be safety glass. Any thoughts?
