I need some help...I'm trying to properly position reproduction cowl sides to the firewall, how much body reveal is shown where the body and cowl meet? generally I'm want to know where and how they fit, top even with the gas tank is obvious, not sure about the rest. Thanks!

I bought new seat springs from Snyders, is there any wood on the seat springs bottoms where they contact the risers? I never had any originals to compare with. I would think that once they are upholstered, contact with the seat risers would wear the vinyl out prematurely along the bottom edge.

Finally getting my car finished and going to paint shortly, I looking for some pic's that show where the two colors on the belt line start and finish. Hope someone can help out, Thanks!

I'm trying to install the wood bows onto the top irons, I have reproduction wood, the wood pieces are marked (front, middle......) but I'm can't figure out the ordination, one has a notch on one end, one is wider on one side (does that go toward the front or the back? :confused:....can anyone help?

Having some trouble mounting the rear bumper brackets, bought the parts at a swap meet a few years ago, nothing seems to line up, I'm now not sure I have the right parts for the car. I've looked for drawings/spec's in the books and manuals with no luck. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just looking for some feed back.....reproduction fenders worth looking into? or do I repair the original ones I have? The originals I have are beat up and was told by a body man that if reproduction ones are out there I should consider buying them because it would cost me 2x more to repair what...

Does anyone how many "seat spring" manufactures there are? is there more than one? Prices seem to vary quite a bit from one re-seller to another for '28 Phaeton seat springs. Are some better quality?

Has anyone installed repop rear sill plates on a '28-'29 Phaeton, Snyders says "some trimming required" no kidding! LOL! more like blacksmithing abilities required. When I compare them to the originals I'm not sure how or where to start. Anyone have any tips for me?
