Good article in the newest “The Restorer” magazine about head gaskets. The author writes about the head studs should be bottomed out and then loosened 1 turn. I always have snugged up any studs I have put in. What are your guys thoughts?

I have a question about the bushings in the brake cross shaft. I’m using the split bushings from one of the venders and was wondering if I can put dry powder graphite on them and the shaft for lubrication? Thanks for your help Chris

I have a Otwell health heater and I was wondering if I'm missing a spring on the top bolt to hold the door and deflector tight? Here is a pic. of the door. It was on my car with just the 2 bolts holding it on and the door was hard to move with the top bolt tightened.
