    Parts for a rebuilder

I'm posting on behalf of the Feather River As in Quincy, CA. Our long-time member Ron Rude, who was well known in this forum and in the hobby, passed away a couple of years ago. His family gave his Model A parts to the club. We have no members who are interested in the parts--we're all old and...

Anyone know enough about steam-bending wood...

...to tell me if this will work? The car is a '29 Tudor. The wood is the tack rail above the rear window frame to which the headliner gets attached. It is supposed to line up with the ends of the tack strips that curve around the rear corners. This one lines up pretty well on the driver's side...

I am considering buying a set of B rods. I asked Snyder's if their rods were match-balanced and if so to what spec. I just got this answer from Tom: "Joe, B rods are tough to weight match as close as others because we do not have the supply of rods to sort through. Typically a set of B rods...

Sad news about Ron Rude's Mom

I just heard that Ron's mom passed away this morning at age 104. I don't know any details yet other than that she had been feeling poorly in the last week or so. Sounds as if she went peacefully and quickly, which is of course a blessing. Our thoughts are with you, Ron. Joe & Heather
