I just picked up this Barcalo Buffalo Multi-purpose Model A wrench from the 30's. I just tried it on my rear end drain plug. The square 'nub' is too large. Wouldn't be hard to grind to fit but I was just curious, did the drain plugs have a larger hole back in the thirties? Everything else...

A friend blew her fuse today on her '31 Tudor. While looking at the fuse I noticed it said 30 amp, 120 volts? I never realized fuses were rated in volts. Will a 120v fuse work properly in a 6 volt system? How about a 30 amp, 12 volt circuit breaker in 6 volt system? Thanks

Just curious, what makes Champion 3X spark plugs so expensive. It is not like the reproduction 3X plugs are rare. Even on Rock Auto, Champion 3X are $31.79 vs Champion W18 at $4.92. I don't find they perform any better.

Is the Model A rear axle vented anywhere? I know the trans in vented, just curious about the rear end.

A couple of weeks ago we replaced a head gasket on my friends Model A. He just noticed water seeping out of the #3 stud (by the tightening sequence in the Red Book) or the 2nd one back on the drivers side. Does anyone know if this is a blind hole? Can't imagine he "blew" a head gasket there...
