I have the reduction ratio gear end cap off my 31 roadster. I need to get the gear shaft out to inspect it. How do I pry the end cap off without destroying it? Is there a trick to it?

When testing Spark Plugs, in my case Champion W16Y, what should the Ohms be? I've got 2 plugs reading fairly high (4.4), and 2 plugs reading fairly low (about 1.7).

When I'm driving with the light switch selector 1 click over (low beams) it keeps moving and shutting the lights off. When I move it to the 2nd click over (high beams) it will stay in position. It is very annoying having to hold the switch selector when driving to avoid blinding other drivers...
