Aunt Martha starts fine, but I get a mild tic-tic-tic that usually goes away after a few miles. Sounds like its coming from the passenger side maybe. Is it a valve or ****** or ???

    Optima battery holder

Got an Optima battery recently. Made my own holder out of 3/4" plywood and deed a board under it with two sideboards to keep it in place. Thought you might want to see it. No chance of shorts, no metal top bracket.

    Speedo cable too short, ideas?

I put in a Mitchell OD in my Vicky last winter. Bought a new speedo cable, and it keeps slipping out of the Mitchell cable housing. If it was 1/2" longer I wouldn't have a problem. Any ideas on an extension or ??? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Wiring ignition switch with accessory post - help!

Bought a fancy Nu-Rex ignition switch with accessory post for my 31 Vicky. Put it in, hooked the dash light to the accessory post, and it kills the engine every time I turn on the light! OK, I understand I just added a ground from the light and it is gobbling up the juice that normally goes to...

    T-Bone Model A Heater?

Decided I didn't want to change my exhaust manifold, so I bought a T-Bone brand heater on Ebay. It even comes with a small watering can at the firewall to improve humidity. Anyone seen one of these? This one is in the key of A, of course....:) Ok, no matter what I do, the photo is upside down...

    Mirror attachment

I have two side mirrors that are on the upper hinge. They have set screws, but won't stay put and keep sliding. Tried a little duct tape, that doesn't seem to hold them either - suggestions?

    Motor mount question

I've got a 31 Victoria, put in a Mitchell this winter. Also replaced the front and rear motor mounts. The front is the one in the Les Andrews book where you drill 2 holes in the cross member. Put Float-a-motors in the back and added the little rubber block gadget over the U-joint that sits on...

I have a 31 Vicky leatherback with top material that looks like canvas. Its probably been on there 40 years... I see lots of cars with tan vinyl material, but this is different. I want to know: 1) is it original, and 2) where do I get a replacement. Classtique in MN has something fairly...

    Balancing flywheel & pressure plate

My local machine shop balanced my flywheel, no problem. Had to take off a bit and its perfect. They add a new/Chinese pressure plate and they can't get it to settle down: add weight here, now add weight there, now some here... Ideas? Thanks, Joe
