Does anyone have an early 50's sears/allstate catalog that lists cams?

I recently purchased an NOS Allstate (Sears) flathead cam for a 59AB. I don't have it at my place yet, but the only markings are Allstate EEE. It is ground on a new core. Judging from the lobe profile, it looks pretty racey. Sears/Allstate didn't make these parts, they simply rebranded...

    For Sale 1932-34 Front Spindles

Pretty clean set of front spindles for '32-'34's. Someone took a 3M cookie and started to sand right below both upper portions right below the top boss. Comparing them with other ones I have, very little to almost no material was removed, but just being clear. Threads and bearing surfaces are...

For Sale Potvin 425 Eliminator reground cam for 59AB

Reground 59AB cam to Potvin Eliminator specs by Delta Cams in 2023. They ground down between the lobes instead of reducing the cam bearings. All cam bearings are at 1.79+ or better. Been stored covered in grease in a plastic bag since the regrind. I found an original one, so with one is...

    '49-'53 cam cores (three)

Three '49-'53 cam cores. All cam journals at 1.59" or better, so they are good to go for regrinds. Will need to be degreased. Asking $25 a piece or $65 for all three plus shipping. I can use Pirate Ship to make the shipping reasonable. Can send pictures to your email if you'd like.

    Coolant hose nipples for heater

I'm trying to figure out an easy way to bring water to a pre-war water heated intake. I recently purchases these coolant nipples that go into the coolant hoses. Do they need Indian shellac or a rubber patch to seal? I've never used these before.

Difference with two banjo rear spider gear housing/ring gear bolts

I'm in the process of getting ready to build up another rear end. I had a '40 rear that I was hoping to take the axles from. Turns out the gears are pitted by sitting in gunky grease. When comparing two different center sections that I have, one of them has the bolts with safety wire holes...

Wanted: Early '41-'42 helmet distributor with the 11A advance mechanism

Looking for an early '41-'42 helmet distributor with the 11A advance mechanism. It will have a 41 stamped on the drive tang. I just need the internals with the point plate, so the condition of the helmet is not important. Would prefer it to be free moving, but seized up is OK as long as...

How do you remove the internal parts of a helmet distributor?

How does one remove the internal parts from a helmet style distributor? The ones I have seem to have grown together over the years. Before I break something, I'd like to know a few tricks on how to coax the internals out of the aluminum housing.

Question on how to install '28/'29 roadster door panels

It seems simple enough, but I have a question on the installation of the door panels. When installing the door panels on a '28/'29 roadster, does the panel get pushed up so it's underneath the "fold over" of the inside portion of the upper door skin? I meant to take a picture of the area...

'28/'29 Door trim panel ring nail brass inserts

I'm looking for a source for 6 of the brass inserts (see pictures) that go into the door to hold the ring nails for the door panels? I was fortunate to find NOS '28 roadster door panels and '28 correct pebbled head ring nails at Hershey this year. My doors are missing some of the brass...

'39/81A double detent low/reverse fork question for trans gurus

Can I confirm that the low/reverse fork (green bible part # 7231) that would come on a 81A double detent trans top is the same whether or not the top has the larger 91A fork or the smaller 68 fork? I believe so, but I just want to confirm. Thanks,

Help removing the main shaft from LZ O/D transmission tail unit

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what is keeping the main shaft from separating/sliding out of the O/D tail unit. I have the section where the solenoid mounts loose and that wants to move forward with the shaft when I pull on it. There is something I'm missing. I'm thinking the...
