Is there a supplier who engraves body serial numbers on a Body ID Plate?

Does anyone have a good method for bending the top moldings for a '31 S/W sedan? These are sold in straight sections and need to be formed (the hardway) to 90 degree bends. Do you use heat or bend them cold?
