Trying to ID the cam in my 221, It has F5 and T3 stamped in the dist drive, Does anybody have information, Its seem pretty lumpy.

Help , anybody have a good elec. shift body for a columbia, mine has a major dent in the low side seal surface. Tried to polish it out with valve lapping compound, no wayno. :(

does the dist vacuum brake work off of ported or straight manifold vacuum

I have a 36 lb 221 ci. I'm changing back to an early dist. (scrapping the mallory) Any body know who sells early plug wires and dist. caps. Also what the difference between the plug wire orientation from 32-36 and 37-41 dist. does it change the firing order. Or is the rotor different.

I am installing a radio in my 32, 221 flathead, converted to 12volt what is the best plug and wire combo? Is there a filter that can be installed on the 12 volt supply

Can you run a 42-48 shift solenoid on 12 volt, being that it is a momentary connection.:confused:

I have a 59 AB that has a bore of 3 3/8 by 4 1/8 stroke, what the displacment. I used a C I D caculator on line, it said 226 CI. the piston are domed. 3 3/8 with 3/16 LC (low crown) measured stroke from outside edge of piston to top of bore. piston tops out at the the top of cylinder.

I have a problem with the stock 32 gas gauge, it reads 1/2 tank when full. Could the estation tube to the gauge be low on fluid? or the sending unit be plugged. where can I get the fluid? also how do you go about filling the gauge? do I fill it with the tank empty? :confused:

Just installed a columbia rearend in my 32, (stock spring, stock crossmember, 32-33 bells, stock shackles and stock axel's) and the right hub is 7/16 of an inch futher out than the left side. Dropped it out and re-centered it, still off. tow is also off. any IDEAS, centerbolt of the spring is in...

What is the voltage output for a stock ford coil? I am running a H&C 1400, thinking about running a Harley Single fire coil, compact and sturdy design.

In order to run a elect. tach on a harmon collins 1400, should I use a 4 cyl tach and draw from one coil.:confused:

I have repop eddie myer heads on a 1936 LB engine and it over heats. radiator re-cored, new water pumps. new hoses, timing correct.

I have a 40 banjo and columbia. plan on using early bell's (32-24). Are the axles long enough to absorb the extra 1/2 inch wider center section? if not should I shorten the bell's by 1/4 each? If I can run the stock bell's do I need longer shackle's?

Does any one make a 8 spline weld on pinion to replace a10 spline?

HELP Cant get the hub to slide off axle, slides about 1/2 in then stops. key stuck, hitting bearing. brake are slacked off pins free. How do you free up the key.
