I am looking to order a new starter for my 51 automatic V8 convertible. What is the difference between the automatic and standard starters. Is it just the drive portion? Can this be swapped from my old starter? Thanks, Eric.

I appears that nobody makes a crossover tube for my 51 vert or any other late flathead for that matter. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Eric.
