1931 deluxe roadster windshield frame either needs re-chromed or replaced with reproduction frame. My guess is the costs for replacement is less than the re-chrome restoration. Not sure what the repo looks like. Any experience with this? Thanks

Search did not come up with answer. I'm sandblasting doors and someone previously used seam sealer along some of the edges. Wha would take the seam sealer off or dissolve it? Thanks, Mitch

I'm studying using this line of paint and noticed there is a polyurethane primer and epoxy primer (I have used DP40LF epoxy). What is the difference? Right now I'm finishing sandblasting the body and will be applying first coats of primer followed shortly after with the primer surfacer coats.

I'm trying to decide on a color for a March 1930 coupe. I believe that copra body and chicle upper was available (not chicle body and copra upper). I'm trying to find a picture of a car with copra - chicle, but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mitch

I'm going to paint my 1930 coupe chicle body and copra upper. I just looked at a coupe on Brent's site of the same color. It appears that the window reveals are the same as upper body color. Is this correct? Maybe I couldn't see the colors well enough in the pictures. Thanks.

I have a 1930 fender to start the metal work on. The area where the headlight bolts down on is gone. I have one of the vendor's "headlight bar patch" pieces. Do the dimples point up or down or should there even be any dimples? My originals are fairly flat in the area with a recessed section...

I am looking for a new visor for my restoration ('30 Std. coupe) and found one on ebay, but I am confused as it does not look like mine or any or the ones I have seen in person or in photos...

I should know this, but need to be sure. I have Felpro 7013C R4 head gasket. Does the side with the crimped fire rings go down against the block? And would a copper coat spray or something be good to use on it? FYI, it's an old B-F head.

I have ordered and am going to use Felpro 7013 head gasket as recommended. I would like to know what the reasons are for not using the head gasket from Snyders that they call "modern" (steel with composite and silicon). Does anyone know?

This head was acquire about 10 years ago by the previous owner and may have been from a swap meet or something. And yes I'll be scraping the paint of of the stud & distributor bosses, threads, etc. Anyway it took about 0.010" to get it flat. The head has "B-F" on it. Is this a Brumfield head...
