Mix lot of A, AA and T parts

Not mine, I have no vested interest. I do not know the seller. And one of my Facebook groups he indicated he would take $500 for the lot, and I figure that’s got to interest somebody here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1832336956985771/permalink/3391997017686416/?sale_post_id=3391997017686416

    ‘26 Roadster

‘26 Roadster Hello, first a bit about me. New here, but not to the Barn. I was over on the A side for some time. I retired a bit ago and sold off my A and way too much collected parts, everything except most of my shop, bought an RV and am traveling the country for a while. While we travel...

Hello I have lost the ability to log in to the Barn on my iPad with Chrome, Safari works fine. When I log in with Chrome, the initial log in works ok, I get the screen that says " Thank you for logging in QGolden." Then I am bounced back to the log in screen and need to log in again, then the...

    Barn Parts

Hello All First off I need to make a disclaimer, I have no vested interest in this thread, or the parts I am about to discuss. They are not mine. OK, I contacted a guy today who had a seat for sale, he thought it was Model A, and I am looking for a seat for a Model A Speedster that I am...

Had a good day. Met a Barner!

I'm my world, all days are good ones, (some are decidedly better than others though :p ) Today was extra good, I drove down to Morgantown from NH to visit Dusty and the Green Machine. We had a great visit, swapped a few stories, and I got to see to see the Green A up close. It was well worth...

    Toy Collectors Value question

I found this toy in an Antique Store the other day, I have some old Hubleys, and other cast toys, but have never seen this on. It has a number in the rumble seat compartment. Looks like 911 or 116. Anyone have any idea on the value?

Ford branded spark plugs from Champion.

Hi, I was pawing through an "antique" store today, when I stumbled across a box of NOS assorted spark plugs. In the box were a few 3X plugs that might have been used, but they were pretty decent looking, but also near the box on the shelf were assorted plugs, all appeared to be used. I saw this...

    Snomobiles

I went to the Ice Races today in NH, there are a number of vehicles that show up in addition to those racing. One of the vehicles to arrive for a spin on the frozen lake (not racing) was a home-built 30/31 Model A Snowmobile. Modeled after the Ossipee Snow Mobile kits of the '20's and '30's...

    Cool A Photo

In case you don't recognize him, the "pilot" of this A is none other than Chuck Yeager. Apparently he was a fan of the Model A and drove it to and from the base regularly. With all credit due, I found this photo at www.chuckyeager.com. Must of been settling at the end of the day to climb...

Craigslist ad, NOT MODEL A, but echoes a lot of our feelings.

A buddy sent me this Craigslist ad, he said it looked like something I would write, in fact some lines are reminiscent of ads I have posted in the past. Good chuckle.... http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4193066471.html

    Speedster Question, Spark Advance Linkage

Hey, To you folks that have built a Speedster, a question. I am getting close to lowering my steering wheel. My Spark Advance Rod barely clears the head and Bolt now, when I lower the steering column, it will hit the head. Any solutions other then bending the rod? Thx. Quinn

    Egg Shaped Tires

I have seen something I have never seen before. I recently purchased 4, 33/34 17 inch Rims to use on my project. They had nice looking tires on them. Older Sears Allstate Nylon 4 ply's. A few weather cracks, but have clearly never been on the road. Still have the nubs on the tread from...

    Brass Grease Fittings?

Working from the back to the front on my Speedster A project, I have come to the Front Axle. Yesterday I pulled it, it tore it down. Cleaning off decades of grease, and paint, I have found Brass or Bronze grease fittings on the front end. I Googled for them and found nothing. Were they common?

    Rear end alignment

So I installed my rear spring tonight and re-installed my rear end. I have not attached the Radius Rods yet. I assembled the springs, put them to the rear and the shackles. Visually centered the rear through the Center Bolt hole, and jacked up the rear into place, taking care to be sure the...

    Sector box play

Hi, I have not started to do anything with my steering yet on my 1930 project. I have a little less than 2 inches of play at the wheel, acceptable to me, but I will look at adjusting it. I have the Service Bulletins to go by, but my question is regarding the Sector Housing. With the frame off...
