I am reassembling a "basket case" '40 coupe, the "V" support/brace between the front fenders that mounts to the center of the front X member with a spring & bolt/nut. Does the spring mount under the X member or on top of the brace? Also the load bearing, Ford script marked part #B-3123-A2...

Has anyone on here heard about a salvage yard in Kansas closing? Story is that it contains 300+ vehicles from late 30's to early 70's. Anything left after May 31, will be crushed.
