I converted my 53 f-100 with 51 merc flathead to twelve volts , I also installed A pertronix distributor , should the vacuum advance from the distributor be hooked up to the manifold vacuum or the port on the holley 94 carb.

just got finished converting my 53 f-100 to 12 volts , new distributor ,pertronix , new coil ,new wires ,plugs , truck starts right up and will idle fine bring RPMS up to 1500 engine starts to run rough and back fire , distributor is in correct as the timing ,, put new 94 carb on engine ,still...
