I'm looking for a nice 1947/48 Ford clock. I have a 12 v negative ground wagon. I don't know if a stock clock works with 12v. Thinking about having it converted to Quartz if not. Thanks Gary 817-808-1331

John McClure aka FlatHeadCoupe removed and replaced the old rusted lock cylinders in the Tailgate handles of my 46 Wagon. Keyed the glove box door to match. This all happened over the Christmas Holidays.

Question #1: Are the 46 and early 47 hoods the same as the late 47 and 48 Hoods???
Question #2: Would a 46 hood Ornament have the same contour as a 48...
When I close the hood on my 46 Wagon the back of the hood at the cowl doesn't sit down. I push the Hood down at each corner to line up with the cowl.
Is this normal?? Is there an adjustment in the hinge?? or are they defective??
Thanks Gary
Needing 1946 running board trim/ stainless with the 1946 profile for a wagon. Does anyone know if the running boards on 1946 Fords were all the same length on all models ? They make an after market trim. But, it's smooth like the 47-48 profile.
Thanks Gary
