I am having a 41 ford speedometer rebuilt here ( New Zealand ) and the person rebuilding it has run into a problem with the magnets, he says he cannot get a magnet powerful enough to make the speedometer work. Are new magnets available in the States for this model?

Hi from New Zealand, I am presently repairing and polishing the stainless trim off a friends 57 retrarctable, he is missing the ' hockey stick ' from the right hand side of the car that connects to the trim along the rocker any help or leads appreciated.
