Is there anyone currently restoring gas tanks. Mine has old sealant that has started to come off due to corn gas and rust.

While working on my turn signal, I am needing to solder some wires together. I'm using a non Lead electrical solder but its not sticking to the wires. Should I be using flux other than whats in the center of the solder?:confused:

I've read that in order to charge an optima battery with a standard charger, you must charge through a standard battery to "fool" the charger. ie charger hooked to a standard battery and then jumpered over to the optima. Does this battery need to be a 6 volt also or will a 12 volt work. I...

I left the switch on on my A Saturday and did not pull the fuse. Obviously the battery is completely dead. What other damage might this have done? Coil??
