I need to change the steering wheel on our Pepsi truck ... Should I have some other parts on hand for the light switch and horn rod or does this come apart fairly easily? As far as I can tell this assembly has not been apart for at least 35 years .. Any advise would be appreciated

Been a while since I have been on .Is there any way of knowing what type of steering wheel I have , splined or keyed , on our early 28 AA without taking it apart ?It was built around March of 28 .

We are putting our AA in our Christmas parade -- it is in the evening -- I need to put on christmas lights and make them work -- the truck is 6 volt so an inverter will not work -- any ideas? I was thinking about putting a couple of 12 volt deep cycle batteries in the back and run the invertor...

Our 28 AA truck has a 1/2 inch starter shaft .The drive broke so I bought a rebuilt starter and drive with a 5/8 shaft . I tried to install the 5/8 inch starter and it did not mesh with the teeth on the flywheel properly . the teeth appear to be different in size . I managed to get parts to...

Finally got the Pepsi AA out of its trailer -- Noticed that when I press the horn button while driving and turning the wheel , it sometimes keeps going after I release the button . I jiggle the stering wheel and all is good . Does anyone have a simple fix without having to take the rod out...

Our Pepsi AA has tires that have been on since 1980 ... They have some sidewall cracking in the rubber .. the truck only does parades and car shows .. should I be concerned ?

It is time for us to store the 28 AA Pepsi truck ... I will be keeping her outside in the enclosed auto hauler trailer .. I have her fueled up ... I have the trickle charger ready to plug in ( will do a trickle every 2 weeks or so ) .. The trailer is not heated ... I am leaving the roof vent...

Thinking about putting on a new steering wheel on the Pepsi AA ... our is a bit out of shape ... I know they sell them at Mac's in NY ... Should I go reproduction or get a good used one ?... do the repro's fit good ? Is there anything I need to watch for ?

Need some advice ... I have a slight smell of coolant when I start up the AA cold .. I can see just a wee bit of steam as well from between the intake and exhaust manifld under # 3 cylinder ... I am not going through any coolant .. the truck is just used in parades etc. ... It is the original...

Well --- I thought I was having carb issues on the AA .She was running rich and I had to turn the choke contol completly closed to make her run relatively smooth .Never had to before . It was always good at a 1/4 open .. I replaced the carb and the engine is still the same --You crack the choke...
