Long story short.a friend of mine has a very nice 58 Custom.. all stock with a 292-3 speed. Car drives incredible. He recently needed a new ignition switch.... ordered one from Carpenters.... and when he went to install.. the chrome bezel that holds the ignition switch to the dash(locking)...

After dealing with some Transmission issues and such.. I pulled the first FE out of my Number 2 57 custom 300.... Hopefully I can fire this weekend. Hopefully there will be Joy in Mudville.

I have a friend who has a very nice 57 2 door sedan(Fairlaine) and he wanted to use the beautiful 57 Mercury steering wheel on his 57 Ford. I am not certain, but I believe the spline count on the wheel and the Ford Column will match... but then there is the horn question.As we know a stock 57...

Some bugs being worked out,..but for the most part,... up and driving. Some trim is still need to be applied, and the interior and Bus. rear tray to be finished... but overall.I am extremely satisfied. 5 years later... I am back on the road. Now I need to finish the other 57 ......... hahah

Hey Guys.. have a question. I was noticing on my steering column, and steering wheel(300) that the gap between the wheel and the column has a large gap. I checked an old unit and the gap seems to be the same. Place the wheel on and tighten down... the nut only goes so far and is basically flush...

......Is there a bushing replacement to make the vent window tight again? Getting near ready to replace the old rubber on all windows but the vent window is very sloppy .. as in too loose. Can someone direct me to that thread or an answer? thanks guys.

I am selling both door mouldings and quarter window mouldings.The rear moulding is of unknown origins (possible Model A) These are for a 1932 Unchopped 5 window coupe. Quarter window garnish mouldings are good shape.... very slight pitting and the side window mouldings will require some metal...

Finally got my 57 home... lots of clean up to do and need to replace the floor pans. Otherwise all very solid. Can't wait to start this project.
