    I have six reproduction 32 hood hinges from various venders. They're all narrower than the original. Original ones measure between .750 to .760 inches. The repops measure .720 in width.     early oil pump

    I have a 37 flathead engine with a worn out oil pump. looking to replace it with a melling pump. The pickup tube interferes with the splash tray. Am I to assume I need to cut out portions of the tray to fit. Early pumps are no longer available as near as I can tell. Thanks, Rick
