Getting ready to inspect and cleanup my spare flatheads ..... I understand the head bolt / stud threads are to be cleaned using a thread chaser or modified bolt due to a friction fit. What about the cleaning the other bolt threads in the block , thread chaser or normal tap.

When I got my 47 I noticed it did not have the stock fuel pump. It is in the stock location , but the fuel pump has the glass bowl on top of the pump. Wondering if anyone is familiar with these & could provide some information about this type of pump.
