With Rotoshim, it uses a shim stack instead of a hole for the oil to be forced thru, which gives the resistance. A shim stack can be tuned for different conditions like low and high speed etc. If you buy Fox shocks, for example, and spend heaps, they can be tuned to what you want and use them...
