I can not find specs for 1956 F100 pickup with the 300 straight 6 motor. Can somebody help me out? I Need to adjust the long overdue valve clearance and set the timing. I gapped the points at .020”.

I am just finishing installing a ‘53 Ford 8BA in a ‘46 Mercury and I realize the motor didn’t come with an oil filter. I thought it would be nice to install a Bob Drake spin on conversion but their website shows them out of stock. I know there are other kits avail able. Any suggestions?

I’m removing a 59AB from a ‘46 Mercury to install a ‘53 Ford 8ba. The 8ba has a rough looking flywheel that needs a starter ring gear. Will the 59AB flywheel fit? If not I need to order a ring gear pronto. Thanks in advance. Oh, also was a 46 Merc engine light blue or dark blue?

Fuel pump pushrod won’t come out. I’m working an 8BA over to put in a ‘46 Mercury. The fuel pump push rod turns and goes up and down but I can not pull it out with a vice grips. Whys zat?

So this’s morning I pulled the left head from a ‘46 Mercury. It is badly warped but the lock has a crack from the intake seat to the cylinder. And the sleeve has moved up some. Should a 46 Merk have sleeves? Can the crack be fixed? Will lt be reliable?

So I’ve just done a major rebuild on a 302 out of an F 150 that’s going into a ‘65 Mustang. I know number one is right front but I also know there was a firing order change sometime around there. I used a new 91 Mustang cam. Can someone clue me in?
