I would not junk your old one. They can be rebuilt, the Mustang Barn in Pennsylvania is one place that can do this.

Unity hand held spot light. Has tabs on bottom for what I think is a support arm. Light works, Chrome is nice, Cord has been spliced about 4 inches in from the cigarette lighter plug, maybe someone changed the plug. I can send you pictures. $25.00 plus shipping.

If you don't have an air compressor you can use a leaf blower to blow things dry under the hood. I would put plastic bags over anything that you don't want wet.
