I tried rolling, brushing and even blotting. Paint to thin or to thick. Finally did what Dan/Kzo said. Primed and shot 4 or 5 coats of numeral color, followed by 1 good coat of background color. Let it set overnight and sanded with 500 grit wet. These were done last week.

Fender mounted parking lights were made for the foreign market, IMO. British and most European cars had fender mounted parking lights.

You're right 'Roadster62', the top appears to have been installed improperly. The main rear bow is tipped too far forward. Notice the body sheet metal pushing against top material at rear. Also the bottom of main bow top iron (chrome part) should be parallel with body molding not pointing down...

A2325149 (Sept 1929) is the correct engine-serial number for your truck. The other numbers are for the Sec. of State use and have nothing to do with your truck.
