having trouble with my v8 flathead, temp gauge shows in the middle when you turn in key and stays there. after about 20 min it starts to climb all the way to hot. any ideas on what problem could be.?

my heat gauge shows hot all the time on my 53 8ba, would the prob be the inside gauge or the sending unit ?. just started a few days ago

gentlemen, don't really know much apout spare parts. what i have is a 51 victoria complete not running v/8 with 3 spd and o/d, lots of parts but i don't know anything about 51s. any help will be welcomed. as you guessed i'm new at this

it's rusty been sitting 35 yrs v/8 3 spd with o/d glass is all there no breakage, stainless around windows is real good. name your part its going cheap
