I have the helmet style distributor I purchased new inner terminals and rotor the recommended clearance per sheet sent in the box should be 3 to 5 thousands. When installed I have 8 to 10 thousand clearance between inner terminals and rotor would this be a problem. Thanks

I am installing a new aluminum timing gear and have the matching crank gear. Due to the difficulty involved in removing the crank gear I am wondering if it would be ok to leave the old crank gear. I have attached pictures of my existing gear. There is rust pitting in the teeth. Thanks Ed

Is there a great advantage of installing a 1932 model B engine in place of the model A ford 4 cyl. Would it require any changes. I see swap out exhaust manifold and cap off fuel pump. The motor in question has a Winfield head and dual point distributor.

I will be removing my transmission from my car in the near future as there are some loud noises coming from it. I remove these gears from a spare transmission I have. How would you rate the condition of these gears. Thanks Ed

Would any one have the measurement/Location of the hole in the apron for the side mount in the drivers side apron.I believe the hole size is 1-9/16". Would you recommend using a hole saw or a electrical knockout punch in 1-1/2" this should turn out to be close to 1-9/16
