    1992 Ford F-150 p/u camshaft chain or gear driven

    I was told by a mechanic that the camshaft on my '92 Ford pickup, six cylinder, five speed transmission is chain driven rather than gear driven. From the outside of the engine, it appears to be gear driven. Which is it? George Maher Fargo, North Dakota 701-866-4607
