    french block exhaust studs/bolts

I just fired up my 1988 French block flathead (4-71 blower) 3-3/8 x 4-1/4. it sounds wicked (400jr cam). Everything was going good until I noticed water dripping from the header bolts. I probably should have left the studs in the block but I don't like metrics. I forgot that the exhaust bolts...

    early ford juice brakes

I did not bench bleed the master cylinder but when the brake fluid gets down about 1/2" from cap it stops leaking like "oldscouts" Pontiac, but I've never had this problem before so I'm going to re-bleed the system and re-adjust the shoes. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the input.

    early ford juice brakes

Someone prior to my ownership put 40 brakes on my 33 coupe, the problem is after installing a new master cylinder and bleeding the system, fluid leaks from the vent hole in the cap (squirts from it) after pumping pedal. 40 convert coupe rear seat back rest

The back rest is correct, its hitting the tin part where the tin screws to the triangular wooden gusset at each end of the wood strip. If it would help maybe I could post a photo.

40 convert coupe rear seat back rest

Thanks for your help, do you know if the backrest fits tight against the wood strip where the tabs slip over? My seat backrest hits the vac cylinder covers on each side before it reaches the wood strip but it will fit tight without too much effort. It just seems like a wear area for the upholstery.

looks like the 26/31 windshield seal will work good, it fits a bit tight but the round bead looks good and makes a nice seal.

    40 convert wing window seal

I did purchase a vent wing kit from Drake but the seal that was in the kit was about half as long as it needs to be if it is to wrap around as you indicate. I did find some material that might work that is windshield material for 1926 to 31 windshield frame seal (closed car). The cross section...
