starts great runs sometimes 100 miles sometimes 3 miles shuts right off I new it was electrical,, turn key off and on would restart in a little while thought it was ing switch ,but I caught it once and noticed the gauges still worked, changed the condenser backed out of garage and it stalled...

just figured out why pushing on my ing. switch did nothing to release it theirs 2 different switches one has a push in spring and the bezel holds it in the other just turns in the dash about 1/2 a turn the spring loaded one is held in by the bezel the other like mine is held in by a spring wave...

cant seem to push the switch in to remove the bezel have a new switch with tumblers I can see how I think it should come apart but I just cant get the switch to go in to the dash I don't think I need to take the tumblers out because they wont come out till the bezel is off did one about 50 years...

looking for a replacement idler arm assy , like from moog parts ,that has a bushing instead of a threaded nut and arm ,have rebuilt this arm twice in 4 years ,and always loosens up or to tight, service manual doesn't seam to help much

its been sometime since I had one out remember something about push in and turn but doesn't seam to want to unlock service manual doesn't tell much any ideas
