    New engine, stuck valve? Run though some ATF?

    What the heck, my newly rebuilt(less than an hour) 221 got a stuck valve. I took it apart and found 1 exhaust valve completely stuck with carbon. The truck doesn't get out on the road so I guess it builds up right away(so my engine builder says). I'm replacing the parts anyway to be safe. So...

    My left head gets hotter faster than the right...timing? Points?

    On my '41 pu, stock 221, bell dist. Okay from cold start up you can feel the LH head get warmer/hotter than the right, is this because of timing? New water pumps.

    how much clearance do you have between the hood 'tails' and the top of the fenders when you open the hood? If you watch carefully when you open the hood they almost just glance the fenders.
