Thanks all for the help. Trying again to post some pictures of coil readings, (that's got me confused). Will have to go back and read all the suggestions, because i forgot:o. Seems to me that the coil gets soo hot (would almost burn to the touch), that its more heat than from the engine...

Trying to post a picture of my new coil "position", to see if its the reason why it gets sooooo very hot and then quits. (Same with a new replacement.) Even tho i'm not in physical shape to tackle my brake problem at the moment, i now know what i need to do. So i'm trying to correct this...

1940 tudor. Here i am again, still chasing brake trouble. Its getting too much for this old man........ Bled the rear brakes o.k. with no bubbles, so on to the right front and the "bleeding screw is loose" upon just cracking open, so its letting air in the clear bleeding tube to the bottle...

Have to replace all four wheel brake cylinders on my 40 Sedan, (new when installed years ago). Because it sat so long the brake fluid Dot#3 absorbed enough moisture to rust the inside. Did a search on search dept... (hunh) to get information about brake fluid use, and found so much difference...

I positioned my coil between the two carburators on my in take. Would that be a bad location for _heat on the coil?
