I have a real good differential removed from a running 1940 Ford twenty years ago. I was keeping it as a spare but no longer need it. It’s been in storage and not kept outside and never had any water inside. When removed it was reliable and in great shape.

I'm thinking about taking the oil filter off my stock 85 hp when I swap out distributors. I don't see the point of keeping it on. The oil get changed every 800-1000 miles anyway all it's doing is reducing oil pressure. What do you guys think?

Have have a new set of 600 16 Coker radials. The car seems to float a bit at 50 mph. Per Coker the tire pressure is 41 pounds. What do you guys think if I lower the pressure to 36 pounds? Less float?
