When depressing the starter foot switch, the engagement will turn the engine over 3-4 good revolutions, then... nothing, press the foot switch again, same result. Once I catch it just right, the engine starts and runs just fine. It may take up to 5 of those short intervals for it to start...

Interesting thread ref. LeBaron Bonney Interior, and service/production problems that were (are being) experienced. I ordered a complete kit in Feb. this year, still not shipped, and not completely sure if it's in the production phase. Hoping for the best, just a bit dis-heartened after reading...

The speedometer has been making some noise and not steady in it's movement. I researched several sources of "how-to", the cost of a rebuild, and also considered a unit from suppliers, the decided to clean/lube by the DIY method. Dry grease flushed out, insides cleaned and fresh lubrication...

What was the "original" seam pattern for a Special coupe top.? Did all have a drip rail.? Main concern is area from 1/4 windows to rear window area, and across the top of the rear window.. Thanks.. kb

Looking for a source for 6-32x3/8" screw or threaded rod/nut with left-hand thread. I've had an armature for a horn faced, drilled and tapped. Now to get the wafer disc back.. I'm stuck.! Anybody have metal lathe skills.? kb

I either turned the clapper nut the wrong way.. or, it was too tight and just failed.! I know a rebuild is in the future, but is the motor not useable now that no threaded end exists for the clapper mount.? Are these motor parts available.?

Our thoughts and prayers should extend to those (Model A'ers or not), facing destruction and hardship in the storm areas. These coming days will live with them for a long time to come.. kb

A local (DE) "Craigslist" posting advertises a "T" project for sale. Several items listed w/photos.. and of interest to me is a frame with axles and a steering column and wheel. Is there a way to find year of manufacture.? I hate to see it weather another winter..

What year was the "T" truck introduced.? Have a '17 close-by that is 4-sale.. Also a '26 chassis with most of the running gear.. both on C/L Delaware.

Gas gauge at zero, not moving, after some investigation found that the float had separated from the rod.! I don't think it will do any harm until I get a new (replacement) unit, or fish it out and try to restore this one. Any ideas..? Thanks, kb
