    '24 Tudor floorboard

I'm putting together a '24 tudor from a pile of sheet metal and a wood kit from Fordwood. Excellent wood kit for the most part but under the front seat there isn't a lip to hold the fhe floorboard. Do I need to router a lip into the surrounding frame or is there something else? Also, don't...

    1909 Engine number location?

I just purchased a pile of parts that is supposed to be 2 1909 Model Ts but I can't find the engine serial numbers. They are not above the water inlet on the side of the engine like the later cars are. They don't even have the pad above the inlet where the numbers normally are. They are...

    Wrong Nails?

I'm having a very difficult time nailing the sheet metal onto new wood. I'm using 3d 1 1/8" nails and am bending 6 or 7 nails for every one I am able to get in straight. Is there a better nail?

    Another 1924 Tudor question

I bought a wood kit from Fordwood and can't figure out where a couple of pieces of wood go. The numbers indicate that they go to the rear side windows but where? Does anybody have a picture of these pieces installed on their wood frame? Also, I would like to get anybody's email address that...

    1924 Tudor rear body bracket

I am missing the rear body brackets (that bolt to the frame) for a 1924 Tudor sedan. I have been told that they are different than any of the other rear body brackets. Would anybody have a picture of one (so I can see what I am looking for), or better yet, would anybody have a pair they would...

1929 fordoor rear bumper to body brackets

My 1929 Murray bodied fordoor has new wood, rear bumper brackets from a ? and no bumper brackets-to-body stands. A previous post thought they had 3" bumper bracket-to-body stands but I couldn't find anywhere the distance of the brackets to the frame (I have to drill the holes). Can anyone give...

    1925 Fordoor on a '26 Chassis

I have recently acquired a 1925 fordoor body (completely disassembled) and was wondering if it could be used to make a '26 fordoor. I have the '26 firewall, dash board & cowl (and the rest of the '26 running gear). Are they two completely different animals or is it reasonably possible to do...

    1928 Phaeton Wood

I recently purchased a wood kit from Snyders and tried to track down where all the pieces went. Between an earlier post to this forum (showing the back seat), a printout of the phaeton diagram from fordwood.com, the wood diagram from the back of the book "Restoring the Open "A"s, and queries to...
