Should I keep using 600wt oil in everything( transmission, rear end, Steering box....) or is there something better??

Have ordered upholstery and vinyl top kits for my 1931 closed cab pickup. Am interested in finding reputable service provider in North Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown area to install both kits. Any references would be appreciated.
