    We cannot figure out where the coil is or ever was and also how to get charge to the distributor. After putting in a rebuilt generator and new cutout we connected the + wire to the screw on the distributor that the looks like it is for a radio condenser( the same with the - wire did nothing)...

    1934 V8 cranking pretty

    After sitting since 1957, it cranked with 6 volt optima, replaced battery cables, relay, secured all ground connections, and cleaned starter. Had to put it in 3rd gear and moved it back and forth then the starter kicked in. I'm looking for spare plug boots and generator retainer nut and seal...
