I found a set of these Merc. caps for my AV8 project. They are steel, not stainless. They look to match a Merc wide 5 cap, but they are for a standard Ford 16'' wheel. Don't see any like it in the catalogs. Just wondered what year they are for. Bob

I have a 39/40 era 221/239 engine. The letter stamping on the bell housing in the circle are H8L. The 8 is sideways between the H/L. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen this combination of letters and number? Bob
