I have rebuilt 3 steering colm. assy-new worm-new sector shaft-bushing new and honed to slip fit with seal installed on the end of housing....made all adjustments and tryed to get zero back lash with no bind or drag...tight in the center and lose on the ends. the best I can get is about 1 & 1/2...

question on a vicky....why is there a drop block for the stearing col.? is there a purpose or is it just for confort? Or is it because the cowl is a little longer and it help line up the stearing col. to the frame? It is more conforable with out it to me but was wondering if I was missing...

I just bought a vicky and on the front seats there is a rod that holds the seat in place and would like to know what kind of nuts for on the ends of it and if there is spacers so the seat stays centered in the brackets or does it just move around or maybe they have the brackets installed...
