My 1926 roadster pickup when I push the forward band it is almost to the floor when it takes hold, I know it needs adjusted but it feels like you are putting the brake on. Do you think there is a bearing going out? If anyone has input to this it would be much appreciated!

I am working on my 1930 tudor, my question is on the running boards, do I paint the zinc trim around the rubber matting or leave it zinc? I think it would look good painted black like the splash panels and fenders. Thanks!
