What is the correct outside diameter for the shaft on P/N A 9525 - Carb Adjusting Needle? Also what is the correct I.D. for the housing p/n A 9528?

I've removed the head on my 29CCPU as it was leaking coolant into the exhaust and had it hot tanked, magnafluxed and milled. While at it decided to lap the valves and replace the split guides. What is your preferred method for intalling the split valve guides? Any info is greatly appreciated.
