Where and how do I find and locate the frame number for CHP in California?

Can't seem to find my original plate.... does anyone recommend a good repo mfg of the patent plates?

I recently acquired a 1931 roadster pickup. The body is all original steel body from Mass. The vehicle was restored around 10 years ago by a gentleman and Model A club friends. The pickup was done in great detail to be original. It does not have a data plate. I'll look for the inside dimples...
