I bought the mounts for a front tag for my 30 Coupe, I had the tag mounted with the bolts on the bottom of the mounts on the headlight bar. Now I see pics of the tag mounted with the bolts on the top side. Which is correct?

I just installed a original Autolite heater on my 30 coupe. Is there supposed to be any connector between the heater flange and the firewall heater door? Thanks.
