    timng gear from a camshaft

    How do you remove the timing gear from the camshaft? Its a 37 ford v8 flathead. Also looking to replace the gear but having difficuilty finding one to purchase

    HELLO FORD BARN FOLKS Can anyone tell me,is top dead center on #1 cyl. the same as the timing marks on the cam shaft & crank shaft ? This is on A 35 V8 Ford. Thanks for your help. bjwsr

    T.D.C. vrs Timing Mark

    Hi Ford Barn People My question is. If the timing marks on the cam & crankshaft match. Is this the same as top dead center on Number 1 piston? Thanks for any information any one can give me. B.J.W.
