Who Die shocks were made by Houde Engineering under the Houdaille name. From what I understand, the machining tolerances of the day were such that it took some hand fitting to install the wing shafts into the housing. I think what Bill Stipe did was to dial in his tollerances to sizes that he either took from Houde documents of from original units and settled on fit sizes prior to machining the parts. Ford likely did have drawings on these since he always wanted control over the parts in his cars. I've not seen any yet but Stipe, ie Specialty Motor Cams, would be the guy to talk to about that if he is willing but I don't know. His son took over the business and they seem to be limited on production of things in general. Bill moved his shop but I don't know if he will ever get back involved or not. Maybe someone else has access to a drawing.
