The Untouchables Series

During the time period when the "Untouchables" was running on TV. My best friend at the time. Had an older brother who collected Model-A's just to play with and not restore. Occasionally, my friend and I and maybe another friend or two would be walking around the neighborhood. Suddenly there would be an "A-hooga" sound from behind us. The older brother with is Model-A would be bearing down on us with a couple of his friends standing on the running boards throwing oranges (this was in Orlando, FL) at us as they passed by. It was a Hoot, we loved it. The "gangsters" in the Model-A would turn around and make another go at us. All the while we were running and laughing our little butts off!:p

Bob-A;)

"Skirts are for Women not Car Fenders"

AND--- AND--- IF there had been a national Model A Ford Club presence in Chicago in that time, locally it would have been called MAH-FCA NOT 'Mawfka"

Sorry Paul Shinn:) That's the way we northern Illinois boys talk.... Da Bears:p:p Ditka Is King

Robert Stack owned a 1931 Roadster with a Model B engine, Cragar head and Winfield carbs that went 115+ miles per hour at Muroc in 1938. I guess if the police tried to chase him he would have been an Untouchable......

I bought the car in 1962. It was a frame off restoration and it turned out to be a really great show, car that I drove the hell out of.I remember towing at to LeBaron Bonnie and they did the interior and the top. It was a 29 two door sedan.
