Well... it's done. I've been running on black coffee and raw nerve for about 36 hours now, no sleep, the walls starting to breathe a little, but the new Ford Barn is here and it is ALIVE.

This beast is a different animal from our creaky old vBulletin forum. More features than any sane man needs, a look I'm frankly proud of, and security tight enough to keep the swine and the spambots howling outside the fence where they belong.

But make no mistake: there are bugs in here. I can feel them skittering around in the dark corners. If you catch one, or if something has you confused and twitching, drag it over here:

Now I have to go lie down before my brain cooks itself, so I'll be off the grid for a while. If you're a XenForo veteran and you see some poor soul wandering lost, lend them a hand. I'd appreciate it...

Once I've slept and the shaking stops, I'll be back in the trenches answering questions, squashing bugs, and setting things right.

I'm damn pleased with how it looks. That plaid swatch came out of an old Ford dealer accessory option book, some dusty relic I'd never laid eyes on before......

Anyway, I'm wrecked. Running on fumes and bad nerves. I'm praying the bug list is short and nothing is on fire... but I've been around long enough to brace for the worst.
 
Thanks so much and done so quickly and we didn't loose any sleep, just went on and it's working. Thanks for all your work for a great bunch of us who really appreciate someone so dedicated to our Hobbies
 
How do we get to our 52-59 Ford Social Group on fordbarn? We used to click on Community to access it, can't find that option now.

Crap. I forgot to mention that... Communities are no longer with us. I just couldn't keep up with the security of them. That said, I am working on saving that content. Once I have it, I will make it accessible.

So I couldn't sleep thinking about some guys missing their social groups. I ran a stat check and social groups were only getting about 10 visits per day... and the only social group getting any traffic at all was the 52-59 social group. I saved it and it's now a sub forum. You can find it here:

thank you for the upgrade and all your work behind the scenes. this is THE PLACE to go for help and advice. Lots of long-time Model "A" folks here helped me get unstuck and figure things out, bought, sold, traded parts and share experiences. Keep the Faith.
