I wanted to share what I learned about my Northeast Round Speedometer. I had the odometer apart several times to fix a stripped 1/10s number wheel. I documented how to reassemble the odometer for those who might need a reference.

Looking for just the odometer for a round Northeast speedometer. I prefer only the 1/10s wheel (red numbers) since mine is stripped but will take an entire barrel.

My dad installed a Motorola 309 in our 31 coupe, an all-in-one aftermarket unit from 1950, AM only, 6-volt, positive ground. I recently replaced all the capacitors and got it working.

Wanted. 19 inch Stainless Steel tire cover (tire tread cover). This was an after-market item used on spare tires and side mount tires.

I didn't want to mount a light bar in my coupe roll-down rear window. It would annoy rumble seat passengers especially at night. I opted to mount it behind the spare tire and wire it through the rumble lid. It's hardly noticeable until it lights up.

Re: LED Tail Lights I bought 6-volt tail light bulbs on Amazon (Chinese) and found out that the polarity is reversed. I rewired the bulb case for positive ground and epoxied it back together. Works great.

I put one on my 31 coupe with great results. It works great with a modern (non pop-out) ignition switch using the accessory connection. I wanted to install it downstream of the sediment bulb. Plus, I'm too old and lazy to work under the dash.

I used 1/2" plastic hole plugs from Ace Hardware. Glue one to the the end of the tubing, fold the fabric end over and glue that to the outside of the plug. Clamp it until it dries. Looks slick.

Thanks for the advice. I created a 3/16" u-channel in the splash shield to fit the running board. (Old school style with no sophisticated tools.) Clamped on 3/16" steel stock to start the bend, hammered it flat, and squared it up on the flat concrete floor. One down and one to go.
