A custom frame was added for the back of the seat to mount to. The seat back was also lowered and tucked slightly under the rear of the body. I'm 6,2 and am totally comfortable driving it.
I think the seat I'm using is out of a Coupe or Sport Coupe
Re: Modified A will not Calihute
First off if that word is slang I've never heard it before:
"Calihute" is not a recognized word in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. It is very likely a misspelling.
Have you put a vacuum test gauge on it?
What kind of fuel pressure regulator are you using...
I have an old Otwell Health Heater exhaust manifold I pulled off my Roadster. Before I add it to my scrap pile I just wanted to verify it isn't any kind of rare or desirable part. It was not leaking or anything before it was removed, but is heavily pitted
Does anyone have a good pic of a Columbia speedometer adapter mounted on the firewall? Also a pic of the activation pull knob mounted under the dash would be great as well. I just bought a Columbia for my 40 and want to make sure I don't need to relocate anything to install the controls in the...

A friend of mine bought a 32 sedan as an unfinished project. It has a restored column drop in it that seems to work. The key lock turns freely and the switch moves nicely. The only problem is we can't get the key out with the switch and key in any position.
What should we be looking at? Not...
I think it is less us losing people from the hobby and more people using social media instead of classic car forums. Sadly I have lots of friends in the hobby that never go on sites like the Fordbarn anymore. They only use Facebook or Instagram. For them that is the internet now...
I installed one on my 40 last spring. For me it helped keep the engine cooler when sitting in traffic or at a red light. But it had the opposite effect when at highway speeds. YMMV
I had a hard time where I live finding a glass shop that was willing to do the work. When I did find one they cut it slightly too small. So my vote is order it from a vendor
